Nusnin Akter

Nusnin Akter received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and minor in Math at CUNY-Hunter College, New York. She also achieved Master of Material Science and Engineering at Stony Brook University, New York. Now, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in Material Science and Chemical Engineering at Stony Brook University, New York. She is also conducting her research with Interface Science and Catalysis group at the Center for Functional Nanomaterials at Brookhaven National Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Anibal Boscoboinik and Dr. Dario Stacchiola. Her research focuses on in-situ and operando study of catalyst surfaces under real catalytic conditions by using Ambient Pressure X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (AP-XPS) and Infrared Reflection Absorption Spectroscopy (IRRAS).
