The organizers are Kumar & Friend from Harvard University and Bligaard from Stanford University. The symposium is divided into 7 sessions focusing on the topics - Single Crystal Catalysis, Electrocatalysis, Transition Metal/MetalOxide Catalysis, Biomass Catalysis, Photocatalysis, In-situ Characterization Tools, and Machine Learning Tools.
The very first IMASC-wide young investigator symposium was organized by the young investigators for the young investigators in order to play a significant role in advancing the strategic objectives of the center. This event provided them an opportunity to foster peer mentoring, gain leadership experience, facilitate collaborations and in a proactive way iron out potential conflicts arising from possible misunderstandings.
