Boscoboinik and van Spronsen "measure the impossible"

While studying catalysts at the NSLS-II synchrotron, eagle-eyed IMASC member Anibal Boscoboinik and IMASC alumnus Matthijs van Spronsen also observed the x-ray photoelectron spectra of helium and hydrogen. People thought it was impossible. The achievement was featured as a Science Highlight by the DOE Office of Science.
