Adjunct Assistant Professor, Saint Louis University
Rebecca Fushimi

Rebecca R. Fushimi received her D.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis where her work focused on kinetic characterization of catalysts using the TAP (Temporal Analysis of Products) pulse response technique.  In 2010, together with colleagues from industry and academia, she created the Langmuir Research Institute, a 501(c)(3) research organization that supports TAP users around the globe, conducts proprietary research studies for industry and develops new catalytic materials for the advancement of energy production and environmental protection.  She joined Saint Louis University in 2013 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.  Her research interests include selective oxidation reactions, transport in hierarchically structured materials, solarthermal-driven catalytic reactions and new approaches to understanding materials complexity.
